Yes, your data is secure. Your project is stored locally on your computer. When Paperline syncs or builds, only the necessary data is sent to our servers over encrypted connections. We don’t keep a full copy of your project in the cloud.

Free plan lets you use your own API keys with a 15 messages/hour limit and 1 deploy per month. Paid plans include credits for AI usage, unlimited messages, and more deploys.

Credits are used for AI interactions. Different models cost different amounts — larger models like Claude Opus 4.5 use
more credits than smaller models like Claude Haiku 4.5. Check the Dashboard to monitor your usage.
